CORRUPTION IN EUROPE......

This post by Ian Proud - an ex-senior British Diplomat in Moscow who was responsible for co-ordinating 'sanctions' against Russia - opens up on the scandal of lending money to the utterly corrupt Ukraine. 

He mentions Bill Browder who is described as a 'hero' by sections of the pro-war crowd and asks which 'clown' in Whitehall suggested Browder be given a knighthood. For those who want to know more about this 'character' read Alex Krainer's 'Grand Deception' - if you can get a copy of it. Browder has a record of pursuing ANYBODY who dares criticise him. Anybody with any judgement at all should be highly suspicious of him.

If the fool Ursula Von Der Leyen gets away with what she is proposing it will bring Belgium and possibly the whole of Europe to its knees. The political leaders in Europe are heading for a fall....and we will ALL suffer.

As Ian Proud notes - the chickens WILL come home to roost. People who support Ukraine are either ignorant of what's gone on, utterly stupid - or right wing supporters of the dying unipolar world order.

They will pay the price for this at the polls in the coming years, as the big fiscal chicken of war spending pecks away at their legitimacy at home. This is all the more depressing for having been so utterly predictable.'

CHINA....AND WESTERN 'LIBERAL ORIENTALISM'.

  Warwick Powell argues that when we in the west look at China we do so in a patronising way he calls 'Liberal Orientalism'. In doing so we dismiss the Cultural Revolution as an aberration rather than a crucial break with the past. He contrasts China with India - the so-called 'worlds largest democracy' where the form of Government was inherited from British Colonialism and is chaotic. This raises the whole idea of governance. If the aim is effective government, India simply doesn't compare to China.  And so is western democracy the ONLY way in which good governance can be achieved? It clearly is not - especially in the days of mass propaganda dominated by wealth and associated corruption.
